Cold Wax Ocean Study #1
In a departure from the normal land/sea-scape pieces, Cold Wax Study is a first time foray into the cold wax oil medium.
Oil paper has been painted over with cold wax mixed with oil paint to set the background for this underwater themed mixed media piece. Collaged pieces of cut fabric are then stitched to the paper.
The piece is mounted to a canvas board.
