Celebrate the genre of yacht rock with this hand cut sail boat in full regatta. 

The multicolored sail is made from a scrap piece of boardshort material. The rest of the boat and ocean are both made from scrap pieces of leather, suede, and exotic hides. The rigging is made from embroidery thread and letters have been machine stitched.

Every piece is decoratively stitched together to create depth, movement, and texture. 

Material and frame have been repurposed and up-cycled into original art, saving both from ending up in the landfill. 

Backed with paper, stamped, and signed.

Note that all frames used have been thrifted - meaning they are second hand and not brand new. Blemishes in the frame itself are not damages and have also been selected to enhance the overall look of the art piece.
